I have read so many reviews on the air fryer and thought I would give it a try. Since bringing it home, I have made fries (awesome turnout) and chicken (jerk...see pic). I also tried chicken with just seasoning (no breading) and they came out perfect. But I have one con to this contraption.....its too small. In order to make a meal for my family, I had to first cook the chicken, THEN cook the fries. I wish it had the divider like the Power Air Fryer XL. I love this thing and it's so easy for my kids. They can just throw in the food, set it and forget it. This is not great if trying to cook more than one food item, but its great for a single person or if making a quick batch of fries. I gave it 4 stars for the size, but everything else is great. I use it every day. It was a great purchase.

As I started to load the chicken in the air fryer basket, I realized I was only going to be able to fit about four pieces into it, maybe five if I squeezed. So, I needed to cook two batches for the same amount of chicken in the air fryer that I could cook in a single batch in the oven. I went to the store and there they were, same brand and everything. I split up the bag, and started one batch in the air fryer, and another in my oven with the convection off, then made a follow-up batch using the convection setting. The air fryer fries were nicely browned and crisp, but a bit hollowed out, seemingly at the expense of some pleasant creaminess inside. The no-convection oven batch was more leathery on the outside, creamy within, and noticeably less browned. The convection oven version landed squarely between the two.

I bought my Power Air Fryer Oven the end of September. I didn't use it right away, but when I finally did, it worked fair. I figured I needed to get used to using it. Yesterday I decided to dehydrate some fruit. I put it in the oven, pushed the dehydrate setting - 8 hours later you couldn't even tell it had been in the dehydrate. I removed the fruit and decided to make some fries. I shut off the machine and turned it back on using the french fry setting. No blower, turned it off and unplugged it for a few minutes. I tried again and again, no blower. I would guess I haven't even used it ten times.

We re still overwhelmed at how quickly and perfect salmon can cook in the air fryer. In fact, almost anything cooked in the air fryer always has come out wonderful. After our air fryer brussels sprouts recipe tests, we started experimenting more with this fantastic way to cook. It s a great way to get dinner on the table, especially for two after a long days work.
While not inexpensive, the Cuisinart Airfryer Toaster Oven is definitely cheaper—not to mention more space efficient—than buying two separate countertop appliances. It comes with an air fryer basket to be used along with an air fryer setting. We found it worked as well, and in some cases better, than air fryers at browning and crisping. Bring a pot of water to boil. Add the cut red potatoes and cook for no more than 6 minutes. Immediately remove the potatoes from the water using a strainer and place them on a kitchen towel to cool and to pat dry. Once the potatoes have cooled to about room temperature (about 15 minutes), ensure they are “dry” then add them to a large bowl along with avocado oil, garlic powder and sea salt and pepper. Coat the potatoes then add them to an air-fryer basket, preferably in batches, so not to overcrowd the basket which can lead to inadequate “frying.” Food needs room to breathe.
