These delights are lighter than traditional churros—almost like éclairs—coming out of the air fryer fluffy and delicious. The cinnamon-sugar mixture creates a thin crust on the outside, delivering that classic churro crunch. You'll want to enjoy these churros immediately, as they're best fresh, but you can save any extra chocolate sauce (try drizzling it over frozen yogurt).
Over the period of working on my Air Fryer cookbook, I had plenty of chances to test Air Fryers. I love my airfryer. I have tested 4 different Air Fryers now. I wanted to share my UNBIASED, honest opinion about them. I will give you my opinion on those four, and then you can make an educated decision on which one you want to purchase based on this Air Fryer Review and your personal preferences.
While I was prepping the unbreaded chicken, I set the oven to preheat at 400°F, which brings me to one big perk for the air fryer: It requires not preheating. Typically, for oven “frying,” you want the oven at a very high temperature, thus heating up your kitchen. The air fryer saves you from an unbearably hot kitchen; however, it gives off a much louder noise than any oven when operating.
It is Air fryer Vs. Convection Oven, and we would give all the credits to the former appliance because it is portable, easy to clean and allows to cook prepare healthy food fast. We live in a world where people are prone to diseases like obesity. Obesity is a deadly disease because it causes other serious health risks such as heart diseases, diabetes, and arthritis. Opt for the modern appliance and reap the benefits! What are you waiting for? Bring home the modern Philips Viva! It is the best you can find in the market!
I bought my Power Air Fryer Oven the end of September. I didn't use it right away, but when I finally did, it worked fair. I figured I needed to get used to using it. Yesterday I decided to dehydrate some fruit. I put it in the oven, pushed the dehydrate setting - 8 hours later you couldn't even tell it had been in the dehydrate. I removed the fruit and decided to make some fries. I shut off the machine and turned it back on using the french fry setting. No blower, turned it off and unplugged it for a few minutes. I tried again and again, no blower. I would guess I haven't even used it ten times.
And I can confidently conclude the Airfryer was MADE to fry frozen french fries. These perfect spears of starchy comfort came out crispy, steaming hot, and with good variation between softer and slightly burnt pieces. With just a dash of salt, I swear I could package these in stamped brown bags and sell 'em in my hipster neighborhood for $5 a pop. (BTW, these are the frozen fries I used — nothing special.)
Thankfully, all those functions are pretty easy to use -- the SimpleTaste 1400W Multi-Function Air Fryer features dedicated buttons for each mode on the front, along with a display to tell you exactly what temperature the air fryer’s at, in case you want a little more manual control. Speaking of temperature, the fryer can circulate air at between 170 and 400 degrees.
Because it offers so much, the device is quite a bit larger than other air fryers. That may not be a bad thing considering it can replace more than one device on your counter. The TOA-60 boasts a 0.6 cubic foot interior, an adjustable thermostat, 60-minute timer, and the necessary accessories to make use of all its functions. Most users love it too -- it currently has a 4.5-star average on Amazon, across 225 reviews.
Buyer beware! Bought this oven from television, called number on screen. Telephone operator was polite and did her job well. When oven came shipping included of course I was surprised to find out that the insides were plastic, really we all know that is rediculous! Called for return info. NO return shipping included. It cost me 80.00 dollars to return! So would not have ordered had I known. The accessories seemed very cheap as well. Still licking my wounds on this one.
The HD touchscreen eliminates the uncomfortable and often confusing buttons, knobs, and switches a lot of air fryers have. This simple screen has icons that clearly state their function and eases the cooking process. Not only that, but eliminating the buttons gives this machine an elegant design, so you can keep it in the corner of your kitchen without it looking awkwardly out of place.

This recipes uses one of my very favourite seasonings in the world : Old Bay Seasoning. It’s a very East Coast spice mix ( I was SO happy to have it in New Jersey when we visited) but this Alberta girl has been using it for years already. Mike and I will simply sprinkle Old Bay onto our chicken drumsticks and roast them thusly, with nothing else on it. You could easily do the same with the chicken drumsticks in the Phillips Airfryer as well, if you want a gluten-free option!
To help you spend wisely, we chose seven highly-rated air fryers, as well as two toaster ovens with air fryer capabilities, and put them to work air frying potatoes and chicken. We took everything from cooking time and results to size, ease of use, and other factors into consideration in our tests to get a complete picture of what it'd be like to own any of these air fryers, so no matter which you choose, you'll know exactly what to expect.
We loved the super simplistic design. We know that air frying doesn’t require too much temperature monitoring, and it’s apparent that T-fal have implemented this knowledge in the design. There is only an on/off button and a timer control that displays a digital countdown which can be set up to 99 minutes. There is no temperature dial with this unit heating up to 338 °F and staying there.
We soon found that the majority of air fryer brands on the market carry essentially the same internal cooking technology — circulating hot air around the food — only really differing in their external designs and features. Philips and T-fal were the exceptions, and we discovered that both companies hold patents on air-frying technology. From there, we narrowed down our search by researching the technology, reading cooking blogs, and sifting through customer reviews to find top-performing brands and top air fryer models. That left us with a list of seven products. Philips dominated the list, but we brought in a few other recommended brands to see if anything could stand up to Philips’ models.
