I received my oven 2 / 13 / 2018. Have used it several times already and love it. My only problem is that the dehydration creations book was not in the box. That was one of the reasons I got the machine. I want to preserve some of my garden for this winter. I could pay $15-$20 for another one, but why should I when I already paid for one. I have tried to contact someone to send me a copy, but have had no luck.
Though none of the air fryers replicated deep-fried results, they all turned out nicely cooked food, and in short order. One thing to keep in mind, however. Oil is used to set the breading on packaged frozen chicken nuggets and to coat frozen fries, for example, so these processed foods are not oil- or fat-free even though you're not using oil in the cooking process.
The intuitive design almost hits a home run but falls short on the timer implementation. Once the timer expires, there is no auto shutoff with only a buzzer sounding. Okay, got my air fryer last night, opened it up, set it up and tried it for breakfast this morning. The included recipe book has instructions for soft and hard boiled eggs (first page). Granted it was for "large" eggs, and I used "extra large" eggs, but followed the directions (ten minutes at 300 degrees), and the eggs were barely cooked. Put them back in and cooked for four more minutes at 350 degrees, still not cooked enough to peel (ruined a second egg trying to peel it). Put them back in for a third time, three more minutes at 300 degrees. Now I am down to four eggs (started with six). Two were cooked enough to peel and say they were "soft boiled" (very soft boiled) eggs. The other two fell apart trying to peel them because they were under cooked. Next batch of six eggs were cooked at 300 degrees for SEVENTEEN minutes (seven more minutes than the directions said), and they got brown spots on the shell, but they were indeed "hard boiled" eggs (barely). My opinion is if one can't even cook a hard boiled egg according to the directions, I don't even want to TRY anything else! The machine is nice, easy to remove the two cooking racks, and the drip tray on the bottom (all coated with non stick surfaces), but it is much smaller than I expected. It does fit on the kitchen counter nicely, and stays cool on the outside while cooking, and it looks nice if one were to leave it out all the time. This machine is NOT FOR ME, and will be returned. We loved the super simplistic design. We know that air frying doesn’t require too much temperature monitoring, and it’s apparent that T-fal have implemented this knowledge in the design. There is only an on/off button and a timer control that displays a digital countdown which can be set up to 99 minutes. There is no temperature dial with this unit heating up to 338 °F and staying there.
The chicken was not only crunchy on the outside, it was also tender and juicy on the inside. The subtle flavors of the wet dredge can be tasted in the crunchy crumb topping. I served these with a side of Ranch Dressing, but you could also serve these with honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or Polynesian Sauce. All are very good options for these lightly flavored chicken tenders.

It worked great and I loved it for the first 100 days, until the fan quit working. I got a replacement and the second one lasted 20 days and the fan went out again. Power Air Fryer is a joke and a huge piece of junk. I will not spend money to send something back a second time to get fixed. Two in a row with the same issue, a big waste of money. Don't buy, don't buy, don't buy.

My husband made this tonight and followed the directions to the tee. When I bit into my piece, the chicken was grossly undercooked. I then checked the internal temp with an instant food thermometer and the temp was only 118 degrees. Chicken needs to be 165. Quite a food safety hazard. I would recommend checking the internal temp of the chicken and I would suggest you add that to the written recipe. When fully cooked it was delicious.
Don’t throw a fried chicken wing in the air fryer to get only more fried. “Use your air fryer for from scratch recipes. Convenience foods like bagged frozen french fries, fish sticks, and chicken fingers are already fried,” she says. “Preparing them in the air fryer will make them extra crispy, but wont save you any fat or calories,” she says. The timer is a sore point as it only goes up to 30 minutes and it must be noted that if you pull your food out during cooking, it will continue ticking on. It’s a bit annoying at first but easily fixed if you pre-emptively set the time with this action already planned for. This is another common issue prevalent in all analog air fryers and is resolved if you opt for the digital model.
I got the Culinary’s Edge Air Fryer as a Christmas gift. I believe that it is good and sounds and looks eerily similar to the GoWise fryer with the warping drawer of the Power Fryer XL, that gets hot and won’t go back in until it cools. It has no accessories and you need to stop it and flip over the food for even browning, but there is where the problem comes in, because the drawer won’t go back in or even register right away. It should beep or turn on when the drawer is placed back in. Unfortunately it becomes a tug of war during that time. It’s really annoying and adds more cooking time, because you have to wait for it to behave.

I have not used this yet,Just got it today from a online order. The walmart add pictures for this product show the stand to prop the food on. the one i received came with the 3 small books. The reason i ordered this one on walmart is because i wanted the stand and not the books. i thought maybe thats why walmarts was called power air fryer plus. the one advertised on power air fryer.com is called power air fryer and it comes with the books. The unit itself looks to be ok .
