I have had this product for about 1 week now, and am overall pleased with my purchase. I've read multiple reviews prior to purchasing and knew what I was getting into prior to its arrival, and was able to try a few things out to make my own conclusions. Also there are many more reviews from the UK/Australia, but I use the US version and have cooking times in farenheit etc.
One of the stranger aspects of air fryers is that they recommend shaking the basket a few times during cooking to make sure the results are even. Traded in my Big Boss Air Fryer for one of these and I absolutely love it. I cooked bacon the other day. You need to rotate the racks every now and then because the top cooks faster than the others and you need to spritz them lightly with cooking spray. Two days ago I used the rotisserie. Took me a while to find the spit because it was on the bottom of the styrofoam packaging. Good thing I didn't throw it out. It's a great little oven. It would be perfect for a student in college or a senior. I just love it.

It’s a very East Coast spice mix ( I was SO happy to have it in New Jersey when we visited) but this Alberta girl has been using it for years already. SO GOOD! We eat these a lot in my house – with the almond flour. They are super crispy and delicious! My gluten free kid and grain free husband love them! Sometimes I get some paleo buffalo sauce and brush both sides of the chicken tender and bake them for 5 minutes at 350 after air frying to make buffalo chicken tenders – a trick I am pretty sure I learned from another Lexi recipe 😉
I ordered the elite model and the two round bonus pans, which came under a separate order. When I got the air fryer, I read the manual which states you CANNOT reheat liquids in it. I called the customer number and they said it is primarily an air fryer and not meant for microwaving. I argued that was deceptive advertising and if it could not replace my microwave, I wanted to send it back. They offered to reduce the price by $40 if I kept it, which I refused because it was not as advertised.

I bought this in February, 2018 and have used it less than 10 times. I was cooking chicken breasts on the wire racks last night and it turned off in the middle. I finished the chicken in my regular oven and let the airfryer cool down. It still wouldn't turn back on after cooling down. No lights/power or anything. I called Tristar's customer service this morning and was told that it's guaranteed for only 60 days. I wish I would have seen these reviews before I wasted my money.

My estimate is that you'd have to do the fries in (at least) two batches, followed by the shrimp in two, turning it into 60 minutes of cooking time. Compare that to cooking the fries in the oven (there wasn't much difference in taste in the fries between the three methods), then blasting the shrimp under the broiler. Don't get me wrong, the results of all three methods for the shrimp were excellent, but the oven and broiler gave me more options and slightly superior results, and, thanks to the relatively luxurious amount of space in my oven, I could cook much more food in about half the time.
