First day I received my fryer it worked great. The next day, the fan wouldn't come on so it basically became an I've, which I already have. Sent it back because it clearly wasn't working properly and it took forever to receive my replacement. Finally received the replacement and tried it out that day. I thought great I'm gonna use it now, and it worked great yet again. Two days later, I turn it on to make food and much to my surprise, the fan is not working. I am extremely dissapointed and I will be returning this, I will not be giving this a third chance.
It's an oven, dehydrator, rotisserie, air fryer and can even do your taxes. Ok maybe not the taxes part. What I love about this unit is how easy it is to use. The settings allow you to do so much. It's spacious enough for a whole chicken, yet compact enough to have on your kitchen counter space. The dehydrator is perfect for making healthy fruit and veggie chips. The air fryer is great for french fries, fish sticks, and chicken nuggets without the guilt. You can even stick a whole chicken in it, set it, and it'll do it's thing. Cleaning is also a breeze where you can take out the racks and trays to wash separately. Love this great addition to any kitchen. * I am writing this review as part of a contest.
These certainly looked like they'd be crunchy, but a single bite gave way to a pretty boring, chewy, and flavorless taste. My hypothesis is that since frozen vegetables are slightly more processed and designed to be cooked straight out of the bag, they're more likely to taste delicious after one Airfryer session. But fresh produce proved too raw — and resistant — to the heating powers of the Airfryer.
Overall, I think this is a good product and best suited for 1-2 people who are looking for easy ways to cook frozen foods that turn out as good and way less oil compared to deep frying, and would be great for kids who want to eat frozen foods and maintain that high quality crunch. Some foods you cannot substitute for deep frying, and there is a whole range of items of fresh foods that I have not tried yet due to time constraints. However, the price point remains high for this product, and think that it would sell better if it was around $150.

The fry basket is what you put the actual food in. This is almost always removable, and tends to have a handle on it to easily transfer food from the fryer to the plate. Many times, the basket is also dishwasher safe, to make cleanup easier. Fry baskets may have an accessory like an extra shelf, to increase the space available for cooking flat items.

"You can make the best possible version in the air fryer," says Mims. "Yes, of course you can deep fry them. Yes, of course you can bake them. But they never live up to their promise. They're always coming out soggy and chewy, rather than truly crispy." So from now on, it's all about the air fryer. "The high heat, circulating at a super-fast speed, dries out the chickpeas so they're almost dehydrated." And a dehydrated chickpea is a crispy chickpea.
I preheated the air fryer and my oven, prepped the birds and immediately ran into trouble. I had to cram the tiny chicken into the air fryer basket, and as soon as I closed the door, I could smell something burning. I'd clearly exceeded the height limit for this ride, and now dinner was running late. I fished the slightly singed chicken out, set it on a cutting board and—getting a little desperate since people were on the way over—did what must have looked like man-on-chicken chest compressions in an attempt to break the backbone, or at least flatten the thing out a bit before performing some innovative re-trussing. Surprisingly, it worked.
This wasn’t the cheapest of appliances (close to $200 USD), which is why it took me 2 years to finally bite the bullet. There are several options on Amazon though, but the Philips and T-Fal models seem to be the most popular. However, with as much as I’ve already used it and the fact that we’ll be going through a kitchen remodel soon where I won’t have an oven, I think I will definitely get my money’s worth.
